Bagong buhay Lodge #4, MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation, Inc., sponsor feeding program
School feeding program is essential in providing balanced diet to school children which would in turn enable the children to increase their attention span hence better academic achievement.
There is no question that hunger stalks households in this country. The impact of food insufficiency falls hardest on children, particularly the 0 to 14 age group. It explains the lack of energy seen in school children, their absence from schools, their stunted growth and diminished mental capacity. This is a situation that our government must immediately address.

Even developed and rich countries of the world have on-going programs to stave off hunger through soup kitchens, charity programs, official government dole outs (food stamps).
School feeding program is a well-established method where in public school children are provided with free lunches of balanced meals that use inexpensive but wholesome ingredients commonly available in the community.
Bagumbuhay Elementary School is so fortunate to treasure people with good hearts who believe in the objectives of and support every program that is related to the growth and development of our pupils.
With this, we would like to recognize our generous sponsore for our School Feeding, the Bagong Buhay Lodge 4 for their support and also for supplying the daily needs of the pupils of Bagumbuhay Elementary School, most especially when it comes to the basic needs of our dear children.
Whether their poverty is from no fault of their families or something else is immaterial. The fact is that there are hungry children who must be saved from malnutrition, given food for energy and the ability to help themselves through education.
We are truthfully grateful for all the blessings that the school receives from our dear sponsors and much more enthusiastic for the bigger things coming ahead for the benefit of our school children.
